Your expert takes it from there
We shape a route around your dates, because Norway runs 1,750km north to south and the month decides how far up it is worth going.

What our travellers say

4.8
4.8 · 350+ reviews

“It was great value for money because just about everything is included in the price which means that in reality you need little spending money once you get there. For me it was a very easy holiday in that I was picked up from the airport, transported around and fed lots of lovely food (fantastic four course meal every evening) so all I had to do was enjoy the great walking and the company.”

“I also booked a tour of the medieval villages in Beaujolais and it was first class. The itinerary covers some beautiful areas, with superb accommodation to welcome you after a day’s walking. Highly recommended.”

A new destination, the same craft

Norway, planned the way
we plan Europe

  • Norway is a new destination for us, and we are building it the way we have built tailor-made Europe since 2007 — on the ground, with partners we have met
  • Every trip is private and written from scratch: your dates, your pace, your people. No fixed departures and no coach groups
  • Norway runs from Oslo to well beyond the Arctic Circle, so your expert starts with WHEN and HOW FAR NORTH together — the two questions that decide everything else

A country that is mostly coastline

Norway is 1,750km from Oslo to the Russian border and, if you traced every fjord and island, more than 100,000km of coast — which is why the country has always been read from the water rather than the map. In the south there is Bergen, wooden and rain-soaked, with the Sognefjord and the Geiranger behind it and a railway that drops 900 metres to reach Flåm. In the middle, a coastline of bridges and skerries where the Atlantic Ocean Road hops eight of them in under nine kilometres. And in the north, above the Arctic Circle, the part most people actually come for: Tromsø under the auroral oval, Lofoten's peaks falling straight into the sea, husky teams, Sámi reindeer herders, and orca following the herring into the fjords between November and January. In summer the same north never gets dark at all. The question is never whether Norway is worth it. It is how far up you are willing to go.
